The Bathgate Homemakers Club was organized in August of 1940 by Mrs. David Brown, affiliated with the North Dakota Homemakers' Clubs. She was assisted by Miss Nessit who belonged to the Cavalier Homemakers Club. At this time, the Club officers were elected and committees were formed.
